Hi gang,

Hope you've all been able to get out and enjoy the sun breaks we've
been having.  I've snuck out a few times even though I was finishing
up finals (they're done now!)

Just wanted to let those of you who are interested know that the next
brevet is coming up this Saturday, March 31.  It's a lovely route from
Forest Grove up to Birkenfeld and back, which you may be familiar with
from rides that Kirk has led.  They're asking folks to sign up in
advance, which is easy to do using their web form at
www.orrandonneurs.org.  If you sign up in advance, there's no charge
for the ride, but since it's a PBP year, I think you have to join RUSA
to do the 200, 300, 400, or 600.  I think you can sign up, and join
RUSA the day of (and it's worth it, they have a very nice handbook and
newsletter that you get for the price of admission.)

See you bright and early, ride starts at 7 am!  Bring swim trunks to
warm up in the soaking pool at the Grand Lodge when you're done.
