[OHPV-list] Wear Helmet, Get Hit [???]

Just needed to chime in, and say that I will continue to always wear a helmet.  I shudder to imagine the difference between a head smacking the pavement after a fall at even just 15 mph - with and without a helmet.

It's a complex issue, and you have to analyze your own set of circumstances.  IMO if you have very high visibility and good communication on the road, you can tip the scales in your favor.

I won't be engaging in helmet debate here - there's tons of archive at   www.ihpva.org   to find arguments on both sides.
