One more detail on Sunday's ride. I am sensing a general question
developing: since we don't need a car shuttle this year for an
out-and-back, why do we need to meet at 8 am?

Good question!  Unless someone protests loudly -

We will meet at 9 AM at the Beaver Creek trailhead.
