[OHPV-list] Yesterday Silent Ride

We must have had 1000 riders in Seattle, maybe more. Most riders I have ever ridden with at one time in over 50 years of riding a bike. It was quite an experience. Got a pretty good spread in the paper too.  Because I have only a month and a half experience riding the VK-2 (my first ever recumbent ride), I rode one of my UCI legal bikes. Edna and I did the "Ride of Silence" last night.  Maybe about 100 people... It really was different... Not BAD... A GOOD ride, police escort ..very

QUIET... really kind of surreal..... only noise the odd word hear and there and the sound of tires/chains ..

 

Very Worthwhile.
