Yeah, I just got a bee under my helmet (metaphorically speaking) on 
Saturday.  These days, I usually don't care who passes who in non-racing 
situations, but there must have been something in the water this last 
week...

As it turns out, I didn't do my best wedgie hunting before getting to 
Larch, I did my best wedgie hunting *on* Larch.  I reeled in 4 riders on 
Marine Drive fairly easily, but I got 5 on Larch, in the steepest sections 
between mileposts 7 and 12.  One guy even whined at me!  I gave him a 
friendly hello as I went by, and in response, he offered the non-sequitor, 
"This is my second time going up Larch today!"  I just said, "that's 
great!" and left him behind without mentioning that I had come from my 
front door, 40 miles away.  Maybe he wanted me to clap or something.

I guess I'm ready to race!  It's a good thing Wasco is next weekend.
