[OHPV-list] What a ride!

We made it back safely as well, though quite late. We both continued
to Multnomah Falls, and the conditions were supurb - both weather and
traffic (or lack thereof)!

On our return, the group ate at Edgefield. Great beer, though the
service was the slowest I ever remember at a McM's meal. We rode from
home in the morning, and returned home along Marine Drive. Things
started to get a little slow out there in the head wind, so I rode
ahead and doubled back a lot.

The miles were sufficient at I5, so we short-cut our route and headed
down Interstate rather than taking our usual Penninsular Crossing
trail. I booked it ahead from Killingsworth, getting home a bit after
dark and fetched the car to pick up Kathi on the route up the mountain
toward the TV towers. I climbed all the hills in 2nd gear or higher,
the first time for the TV tower hill. I felt good about that, being at
100 miles at that point. I ended up with 106 miles for the day, and
Kathi broke 100.
