The next "club ride" ought to be attractive to you. The Rites of Spring ride
(http://www.ohpv.org/ride_details/rites2006.htm) is an annual tradition,
heralding the beginning of a new riding season. It can turn out to be really
pretty:

This year we're combining with the Slug Velo group: http://www.slugvelo.com/
. They're *really* sociable, so much so that there's a planned "split point"
in Gresham, so they can stop at 13 miles and take the MAX train back to the
start of the ride. The rest of the riders will continue the usual route
through Troutdale.
