[OHPV-list] Sunday Criterium and BBQ

Bill Phillips has asked me to send out this email inviting everyone to his
newly paved parking lot, at his business, this coming Sunday July 30th.
John Climaldi and Chris Alling will be helping Bill on Saturday.  They will
be marking out a “criterium course” for some fun amateur bicycle racing.  He
said it’s basically a ¼ mile track around the building.  This will be just
for fun; no prizes, no glory, no money.  A day spent hanging out with
friends and having a good time.  You don’t even have to race, just come join
us for a fun afternoon.  Bring your family, sit and visit, etc.   

 

Following the racing, he will fire up his BBQ to cook us all dinner.  Bill
will provide the burgers, buns, condiments and non-alcoholic drinks.  He
asks that everyone else bring the salads, side dishes and desserts.  You
also need to bring your own chairs, beer, wine, or alcoholic drinks.  There
will be some people there, that Bill knows, who do not have bicycles but
would like to join in.  If you have some extra bikes someone else can ride,
please bring them with you.

 

Let’s all gather about 12:30-1:00pm.  Play all afternoon.  BBQ at 5:00pm.
