[OHPV-list] Kismet and a reminder

I hope everyone who made it to the OHPV meeting/Bacchetta cheering session had a fun time tonight- I know I did. It was neat hearing John Schlitter talk about upcoming variations on the Bacchetta theme, and yak with everyone about RAO and recumbent stuff in general. Go Speedwagon Go!

Also, I've cancelled the RAGS ride this weekend. It seems only mad dogs and recumbent racers are going out in noonday sun Saturday and Sunday. Diane and I are heading for the Cycle Oregon weekend ride- we're packing lots of sunscreen.

A neat thing happened after I got home. I washed off my bike and was loading it in the van when a lady walking her Yorkies stopped and said "Hello there. My partner and I just bought Bacchettas." After recovered my toupee, I told here about the meeting tonight and the general happenings at OHPV, and invited her to join the list. It turns out she lives about a block from here. It's a small world, after all...
