[OHPV-list] Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes?

Kathi and I rode the trail last summer on our way back from the
BikeJournal Reunion 05 activities in Cardston, Alberta and Glacier NP.
I agree that this is a world class resource, worthy of many repeat
visits.

We camped in the middle of the route and rode out to the ends and back
over two days, so we rode the whole trail twice. A great way to get
metric centuries! Beautiful pavement, with the expectation of superior
maintenance over the years. We went east the first day and west the
second. Perfect riding on the Gold Rush recumbents.

Great ice cream place midway on the west half. Don't sit around under
the osprey nest at the west end of the big bridge over the lake. Good
restaurant at the midway near the RV park - don't recall all the place
names right now, but can research them if anyone is interested. (The
shower trailer at the RV park could best be described as rustic, but
got the job done if you aren't too sensitive....)
