Hey everyone,
Of potential interest to those of you who just can't be on their comfy
recumbent bikes too long:
I've started a personal blog chronicling some of the long day rides (and,
soon, multi-day rides) that I've done. My favorite thing to do is explore
new routes, and I figured it would be worth sharing what I've found on some
of my adventures over remote roads. I've written up three rides so far,
posted a link to pictures (when I've remembered to take some), and provided
a link to a detailed, zoom-able route map in google maps for each.
Here's the url, if you're interested: escapevelocipede.blogspot.com
I'll keep adding to it, both old long rides that I've done over the past
year or two, and new rides as I get a chance to do them. The goal is to
build up a sort of reference for ambitious day riders or potential multi-day
touring riders about what roads are bikeable, what some good routes to
combine might be, etc. I would be happy to answer any questions about any
of these routes that folks might have.
Ride on,
-Michael
