Speaking of which-

If any of you are riding through Jantzen Beach towards Vancouver, be very
careful around other riders, particularly male riders.

I was on my way home from work today, passing the former Waddles
restaurant, when this character riding towards me absentmindedly drifts
across the middle of the path and directly towards me. I start slowing
down, then grabbed LOTS of brake while telling him to watch where he's
going.

We came to a stop nose-to-nose with our front wheels overlapping.

That's when I noticed that he was staring at the crowd of Hooters (which
has replaced Waddles) girls practicing their routines in the parking lot.
In their uniforms. Their tight, minimal, uniforms...

The other rider was too tongue-tied to explain himself... but I looked at
what he was looking at, laughed, and said "It's OK, man." As I rode off, I
rang my bell at the Hooters gals, and most of them waved.

Let's be careful out there.
