[OHPV-list] Birthday ride time

Hi all  -  Well, Slug has a “major” birthday happening next week, and wants
to celebrate with a birthday ride followed by dinner over here.  We hope
lots of you will join us for the ride and/or the dinner.  Or at least to
stop by and say hi.  The presence of friends are the only presents he wants.
(no gifts please)

 

Ride:  meet at Farady Dam parking lot, East of Estacada, at 9:30am to be on
the road at 10:00am sharp.  Ride to Ripplebrook Ranger Station, and back.
Hopefully the leaves will be lots of pretty colors by then, if there are any
left on the trees!!  Ride is just under 50 miles round trip, unless you want
to go further out to make it longer.  Personally, I will be riding a shorter
version, so I can get back home and get dinner started.  

 

Dinner:  our house after the ride.  Eat about 6:00pm.  Only thing you need
to bring with you is whatever you want to drink.  We will be having snacks,
followed by lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and birthday cake.  (I have 3
kinds of lasagna – regular beef, chicken & veggie).

 

You will notice I haven’t mentioned a date yet.  It will definitely be on
either Saturday October 8th or Sunday October 9th.  Depends which looks to
be the better weather day.  If light rain – ride is still on.  If it ends up
looking like really miserable weather both days, we will have just dinner
only here on Saturday the 8th.
