Talking with a few of you on Saturday at the Coast Down, I mentioned a great
deal I got on a new pair of Michelin tires (650 x 23) - here is the link:
http://www.ebikestop.com/c=F7uwgJRceWQ1Xvy0bTmp9Dv8N/cart.cgis If it fails,
go to www.ebikeshope.com, click on rubber goods, then tires and there you
are - not much selection, but what great prices if you can use what they
have!
I took the stock tires off my Aero and put these on and immediately noticed
a much better, more stabile ride, especially the rear end in fast downhill
curves - they grip really well. Can't beat $40 (+ $8 shipping) for a pair
of decent tires! This company shipped quickly and well packed - I just
placed another order with them.
Which brings up the question - anyone interested in buying the stock tires
(Vredestein Fortezza, 571 x 23c, 145 psi) from my Aero? Less than 500 miles
on them - only ridden by a middle-aged lady in Tigard, on Sundays. How
about $30 cash for the set - email me at birdiemama at comcast.net if you're
interested.
And if I shouldn't be placing "ads" on this post (I apologize), please don't
shoot me - just jerk my chain once and I won't do it again. I'm trainable!
: -)
