Subject: [CycleOregon] Peach - OCT 2nd
Hello All,
Since Lance is coming to Portland next weekend the Salem Bicycle Club
has rescheduled the Peach of a Century to Oct 2nd. This date change was
announced some time ago but if you missed it then, sorry.
Their are two distances on the Peach, a 62 mile version and a 100 mile
version. They both start at Chemeketa Community College in Salem and travel
through the rural countryside and through a couple of small towns southeast
of Salem. The 100 mile route crosses one covered bridge and passes by four
others as it heads up the Roaring River, Thomas Creek, and back down the
Santiam River before reuniting with the sixty-two mile route in Stayton. It
is quite beautiful out there in the country.
More info can be found at www.salembicycleclub.org
See you there,
Bob
