[OHPV-list] Time to start training for STP

   Well, I've had two weeks to rest up from riding to the Recumbent 
Retreat (472 miles total), and I'm over the stomach bug I brought back 
with me (nothing to declare, Hah!), so I guess It's time to start 
thinking about what I need to do to get ready for next years challenge: 
STP (two days, not one, I'm not that brave yet).
   So here I am soliciting advice again.  What do you regular riders of 
centuries have to say about preparing?  Should I mix up training rides 
between long, slow days for endurance, and hammering for strength. 
Should I get my slowly shrinking fat behind to the gym for weights?
Any specific notes about STP from you who've done it before?
