There are some of us that are each riding from our own homes, to meet at the
Salmon Street Springs downtown waterfront at 9:30am. Then we will head out
to Sauvie Island and join Susan's birthday ride group. Do the maze, have a
snack, then head home while they go up over the west hills. (another
option)

Hi all - Seems that one of our Team Bag Balm ladies is having a birthday
on Sunday and is going to lead a ride. See info below. This is Susan
Otcenas, of TeamEstrogen.com. It sounds like a real nice ride from
Beaverton (Hall & Allen Blvd area) to Sauvie Island and back. Any and all
riders are welcome.

Dave & I are planning on riding from our place in SE and heading over
towards Hwy 30 and meet up with them at Sauvie Island.

I'll post more info, if something else pops up, otherwise, we'll see ya out
there somewhere.

>>Susan, have you decided what route you want?
>>Meeting time and place?

Yup, basically what I proposed in my initial email. Meet in Beaverton (I
guess my place is as good as any http://tinyurl.com/afkb9 single-story,
cedar-sided house, or I'm open to an alternate start point if someone has a
better idea), we'll work our way over to the 26 bike path, ride up and over
Sylvan, down to the zoo, though the park and head up 30 to Sauvie Island.
Corn maze and caramel apples await. :) Loop around Sauvie if folks want and
IF the traffic isn't too bad, which is debatable this time of year. McNamee
seems the least steep way back up the West Hills. Double-bonus points if
you haul a pumpkin up the hill. Lynne suggested we then ride Skyline and
come down Logie Trail, which has a new surface. From there, we'll figure
out a way to work back over to Beaverton. No I haven't created a map yet,
and no I don't know how far it is. :) As I recall, the last time I created
a map, 30 people showed up, I only had 12 maps to go around, and half the
group got lost. :)

We could meet up at 9am with the intent to depart by 9:15-ish. Would that
work?

Susan O.
