I agree about the weather forecast! We were planning on the Sauvie
Island ride, but only if the weather looks bearable. Tomorrow, by
contrast, should be just fine.
Kathi wants to do Ripplebrook again, having found the Clackamas to be
an outstanding riding area. Considering that I had never ridden there
before this year, I guess I am a major convert as well. You will need
let me stretch my ride into a fourth Clackamas metric century ride. I
figure on going four miles past Ripplebrook, then making two very
short side trips on the return, to Indian Henry and Fish Creek
campgrounds.
I'll never catch up with BikeGoddess in the metric century competition
- she probably has 40 of them this year by now, and lives in a
favorable climate down in California. It is fun trying anyway: this
should give me 34 metrics for the year and help hang on to second
place at BikeJournal.....
