Hi all  -  just wanted to remind you that Barbara would like to hear from
anyone interested in getting together in Pacific City next weekend (Oct
15/16).

When I contacted her, I told her I would remind the group, and that we'd all
get back to her this weekend.

I'm puzzeled about my e-mail regarding the beach ride.  I know Todd was
announcing it in a "newsletter"? Was this by mail or e-mail. I have not
heard anything from anybody about riding next week-end, Oct 15-16. In the
past you have sent the e-mails for me because you have comprehensive lists
of recumbent riders and cycle oregon people. Are we in limbo with announcing
this ride? Maybe you will see Todd this week-end and one of you can let me
know what is up. If we are going to do it, I need to know soon.  If there is
not much interest that is ok by me as well. I have a very busy couple of
weeks going on.  Barbara

 

 

Pacific City Cycle Oregon training ride.

Weekend of October 15th and 16th.

Barbara and Martin Hemens invite friends and family to join her for a 

weekend of fun and riding.  The usual ride out to Otis and back, about 50 

miles along the old highway 101.  A beautiful ride with much yummy at the 

Otis Cafe.  A post-ride evening beach party will follow.  Sunday ride along 

the coast is optional.

Speaking of rides with friends, anyone out there interested in doing the
"post/pre Cycle Oregon training ride" at the beach this year? The one
week-end in October that Martin and I could host the ride is Oct. 15-16. Let
me know in the next few days who is interested. I'll go from there with the
plans. So far, the interest is to do the old highway ride to Otis and back,
about 50 miles. And of course the party on the beach in the evening. Hope to
hear from ya'll soon. Barbara
