What a swim fest! All I forgot was my snorkel and swim fins. swim
fins.they'd look kinda cool without the fairing on the Aero, ya think?
Well, Halloween is coming, there must be a costume in this somewhere. At
least the winds let up on the return trip, once I found the path.
I wondered about the paint used on the Dan Henry's and, like a few others,
got lost in the boonies, but eventually found my way back after fishing out
my soggy map numerous times and running into a nice man who was also lost.
We worked well together and found our way back. He was in serious pain
(guess where) on his diamond frame and all along the way back kept bemoaning
the fact, standing, shifting, and asking me questions about the Aero. We
may have another new convert soon. : -)
Cute woman . gee - thanks Rand! You made my aging day! 'Twas me (Marilyn
-aka- Tweety).
I think I saw just about all the benters who were there, except for
Lightning Bolt Climaldi.or maybe he was that blast of turbulence I felt at
one point in the ride. John. was that you? : -) It was nice to see Sandy
and Matt again after meeting them for the first time at the Coast Down last
weekend. Nice also to meet Bill Van Houten, a fan of my Recumbent Psalm.
Dave - thanks for the help with the tube and getting it unsmooshed in the
wheel before I promptly flatted again.
Tailwinds!
