No ride unless you want to lead one... I assume most of us will be chowing
on hot dogs and hamburgers and washing them down with copious quantities
of local, craft-brewed beer. Connie's entered us in the Hillsboro parade
in years past, but that hardly qualifies as a ride.

As a Vancouverite, I've got to say that the Fort Vancouver fireworks is
the best around. It claims to be the biggest west of the Mississippi... I
dunno, but it sure is impressive. You can view it from the Vancouver
Historic Reserve, or watch it from across the river in Jantzen Beach
(maybe- the best spots are marked as "No Trespassing"). Either way, expect
lots of traffic when you leave. Here's the info about the event:
