I had a great time at the Watermelon. Did 100 miles and averaged  
19.00 miles per hour. Not to bad. Had a good time seeing old friends  
and riding with new ones. Spent most of the day with Bill (Strada  
Bill, not big Bill Philips or Mr. Stites), and some of the morning  
with Terry Minor. Great to see Fast Slug and Edna as always.

Funny moment of the ride is when I chased down a fast road biker,  
then his friend joined and we motored 26-28 MPH for a while. Really  
having a hoot when one of them asks me if I am riding the "watermelon  
thing". I replied "why of course", in which they replied "were not".  
Right before Dallas I turned around and got back on course, so I  
guess I did a little over 100 miles. :)
