Nope- I just have a lot of 8-speed parts around. Diane's bike is
9-speed... and I wouldn't send her out on a bike she didn't trust.

That *particular* chain is 8-speed: that's the "8" in PC-48. SRAM makes
dandy 9-speed chains, too.  I think PC-59 is their cheapest.
