[OHPV-list] BOG Ride
VanGundy

Hi Jane - There are a couple ways you can ride there. I can only remember
the details on one of them. Someone else should remember the other.
When you cross I-205 bridge and end the bike path, follow that road to the
right, to the stop sign. Take a left, down the hill to the T-intersection.
That is old Evergreen Hwy. Take a left. Not the best pavement, but fairly
low traffic. Stay on this road to where 164th joins it. There will be a
cemetery on your right. Take a left, and go UP 164th. (yes, UP means it is
a hill - you may want to ride on the sidewalk during the first part - no
bike lane plus heavy traffic). Follow this to intersection of 164th & 15th
(a mile or two, I think). At that traffic light, cross 15th, go up on the
sidewalk, and kitty corner to your right between the two buildings on the
corner, into the parking lot behind the buildings. Those that drive over
will be parked back there. That will be the start of the ride.
Enjoy the ride. I wish I was going along, but I think even driving that
distance wouldn't be too good for my ankle right now.
See ya soon
Edna

Subject: [OHPV-list] BOG Ride
Will anyone be riding over the I-205 bridge from Portland for the BOG ride
this Sunday? If so, would you be willing to meet somewhere so I can follow.
I know how to drive to the meeting place but I don't follow maps well, and
cannot figure out how to ride there.
Signed, Geographically Challenged Jane
